BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - A classic car collector from Georgia has more than two dozen cars, but is spending Cruisin' the Coast with one he says is one-of-a-kind.
"It's a two-door wagon," said Mike Fulbright of his 1955 Chevrolet Handyman Wagon. "Most of them are four doors, but this is kind of a unique car because it's a two-door station wagon."
Fulbright says he has collected about 30 vintage vehicles in 35 years. He and several others have worked on restoring this particular wagon that he got from South Carolina three years ago.
"We all worked on it and put a V-8 motor in it, automatic transmission, put air conditioning, painted it back the original color, turquoise," he said. "It's got a 350 with a 400 turbo and a '72 Camaro rear end."
Mike says he enjoys Cruisin' because everyone talks about the stories of the old cars.
