Rotate Black is still betting on Gulfport. And the company believes that bet will pay off in the fall of 2016, when its Hemingway casino resort next to the Gulfport Small Craft Harbor is slated to open. That target opening is mentioned in the company's 10-k filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. That form was sent to the SEC Wednesday. Over the next 18 months, Rotate Black developers say they'll spend $170 million on this project.

GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

Three companies are interested in bringing some type of casino development to the Gulfport Harbor.

The four-acre property near Jones Park was once leased to Rotate Black to build the Hemingway Resort and Casino. As previously reported, the chairperson for the Gulfport Redevelopment Commission says the lease was terminated because Rotate Black ran behind on its lease payments.

The GRC recently received three casino proposals for the property. The commission says it is in the process of setting up interviews with those companies.
