LONG BEACH, MS (WLOX) - A Coast native will appear on America's longest running game show Tuesday morning. Robert Lute III, from Long Beach, got the chance of a lifetime to compete on "The Price is Right."
He credits this chance to his mother and his electric personality.
His mom, Lisa, found free tickets online to a taping of the game show in Los Angeles, CA. The show taped in July.
When Lute and his mother arrived at the studio, he knew he wanted to try to make it on stage with host Drew Carry somehow. After an interview with a producer while standing in line, he didn't know what to expect.
Little did he know, he would hear the coveted "Robert Lute, come on down." What happens after that airs on WLOX CBS at 10 a.m.
Lute said he's always wanted to be in the spotlight, and appearing on this game show is a dream come true for him.
Jonathan Brannan talked to Lute today about his once in a lifetime experience. Catch the full story tonight on WLOX News and WLOX.com.
