Search in Gulfport for 'armed and dangerous' robbery suspect

GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - Do you recognize the man in these surveillance pictures? Gulfport Police hope you do. He's wanted in at least four separate robberies over a the last six weeks. And police warn, he should be considered armed and dangerous.

According to investigators, in each robbery, the man came in showing a handgun and demanding cash. And each time, he got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

He's described as a black man with a heavy build, approximately 50-60 years old, who walks with a limp. He has a a "Salt & Pepper" beard or goatee, but would typically would wear some type of rag or mask over his face with a skull cap. During one of the robberies, he didn't wear a mask, and instead wore a hooded sweat shirt.

Here are the dates/times and locations of the robberies when these photos were captured:

  • Monday, August 17, 2015 at approximately 9:30pm, Chevron Gas Station (12486 Highway 49)
  • Friday, September 11, 2015 at approximately 12:35am, Shell Gas Station (10015 Highway 49)
  • Saturday, September 19, 2015 at approximately 8:42pm, Dollar General (817 Pass Road)
  • Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at approximately 9:30pm, Shell Gas Station (394 Pass Road)
