A rash of auto burglaries from late last week has been solved, and two teens are now facing felony burglary of a vehicle charges.
Harrison County Sheriff Melvin Brisolara said deputies were called to investigate several car break-ins in the Meadowbrook and Canal Point neighborhoods Saturday.
During the investigation, Gulfport police told county deputies they had detained two 17-year-olds who were in possession of stolen property believed to be burgled from the vehicles in those two neighborhoods.
Brisolara said both of the teens are charged with 10 counts of burglary of a vehicle. They are being held at the Harrison County Juvenile Detention Center without bond pending initial court appearances.
