Pascagoula police investigate possible drive-by shooting

PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) -

Pascagoula police are investigating a possible drive-by shooting that happened overnight on Martha Court.

Capt. Shannon Massey said officers responded to the call of shots fired around 8:20 p.m. Massey said investigators found several projectiles that “hit the exterior of a house and residents inside the house.”

No one was injured in the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing.

Witnesses told police they saw a white SUV with some type of design down the side leaving the area after the shooting.

    The Pearl River County Sheriff's Department is investigating threats made against schools in the district. According to a Facebook post from the school district, investigators have identified the student that made the alleged threat.
