HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - A man was life flighted to the hospital after an early morning accident on on Big John Road just south of Highway 67.
Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan said the accident happened around 4:30 a.m. Thursday when the driver slammed into a tree. The young male driver was the only person in the car at the time. Crews had to use the jaws of life to get the victim out of the vehicle. He was then taken by helicopter to USA Medical Center in Mobile. At last check he was in serious condition.
