D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) - We have new information on the Cook's Gun Shop caper. John Ross Harold now admits he stole a firearm from the D'Iberville gun shop dealer.

New court records indicate Harold pleaded guilty to one count of stealing a firearm from a licensed dealer.  He'll be sentenced for that crime in November.

Harold is the Louisiana man who evaded police for seven months before being captured last September.

He reportedly teamed up with Kevin Parfait in February 2014 to break into the D'Iberville store and steal guns.

Parfait is serving more than eight and a half years in prison for his role in the stolen gun case.
