BAY ST. LOUIS, MS (WLOX) -

The high school sports website MaxPreps just released its choices for the top five returning high school football quarterbacks for the 2015 season, and number one on the list is from South Mississippi.

Myles Brennan is an incoming junior at St. Stanislaus in Bay St. Louis. Last year, the sophomore signal caller led the nation with 5,797 passing yards to help the Rock-a-Chaws to a 13-2 overall record.

Brennan is also among the website's list of 10 Quarterbacks to Watch in 2015

Brennan has certainly won his share of accolades here at home. In January, following a trip to the 4A football state championship, the St. Stanislaus QB was named the WLOX Offensive Player of the Year.

Of course, you can watch Brennan and his teammates in action on WLOX's weekly highlight show, the Friday Night Football Showdown. The high school football season officially kicks off August 21, and WLOX Sports crews will have South Mississippi covered.
