HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Harrison County authorities finally caught up with the second suspect in a Long Beach business burglary Friday.

Long Beach Police Chief Wayne McDowell said Alfred Joseph Lemuel DeWitt II, 43, was arrested on North April Drive in Gulfport. He is accused of burglarizing a storage trailer at a business on Pineville Road on Tuesday night.

Long Beach police released surveillance photos from the crime scene Wednesday. On Thursday, an unidentified juvenile turned himself in to police.  That same day, DeWitt was listed as a wanted person.

McDowell said Harrison County Sheriff’s deputies finally caught up with him Friday and released him into the custody of Long Beach police.

DeWitt remains behind bars at the Harrison County Jail on a $10,000 bond pending further court action.
