GEORGE COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

One of the suspects wanted in South Mississippi in relation to a convenience store robbery was arrested Wednesday in Alabama by Mobile County Sheriff’s deputies and George County investigators.

George County Sheriff Dean Howell said Destiny Ann Worth, 26, was arrested in Prichard around 5:30 p.m. after a tip led investigators to her location. She is charged with accessory after the fact in the Monday night robbery of the Superstore #2 on Highway 26.

Howell said the alleged robber, 23-year-old Richard J. Phillips, is still at large and should be considered armed and dangerous. His last known vehicle was a gold 2000 Chevy Equinox with the Mississippi tag GEN-304.

Howell said Phillips and Worth had been hiding out in Wilmer, AL, and the Central community of George County.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Phillips, please contact George County deputies at 601-947-4811 or Crime Stoppers at 1-877-787-5898 to leave an anonymous tip.
