PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - Pascagoula police are looking for 45-year-old Robert Antrim. They say he is the man who robbed the east location of Hancock Bank on Highway 90 Saturday morning. He is believed to be driving a red Ford F-150, possibly with a Simpson County tag. Police said he was in Gautier on Friday night.

It was about 10 a.m. when a call was made to the Pascagoula Police Department. According to Capt. Shannon Massey, it was the type of call that he and his team don't get every day.

"It's been a good while since we had a bank robbery," said Massey.

According to police, this robbery involved an unarmed, unmasked man. Massey says he simply walked into the bank, produced a note demanding money from a teller and walked out with the money.

The money wasn't the only thing the quick-thinking teller gave him. She also slipped him an incriminating dye pack with the bills.

"When he left the bank, the dye pack exploded on him," said Massey.

This marked the bills so they would be identifiable if presented at any other bank or place of business.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Department and K9 units were also on the hunt. If the helicopter and other search techniques don't help catch the suspect, Massey is hoping the clear security footage will.

"We've sent out photographs of the actual suspect, and someone will identify this guy. He looks familiar to several people. It's just a matter of putting a name with the face," Massey said.

If you know where Robert Antrim is now, you're asked to call the Pascagoula Police Department at 228-762-2211 or Crime Stoppers.
