They enjoyed fresh pusharatas at the morning meeting and an assortment of seafood for lunch. Biloxi Mayor FoFo Gilich hosted seven coastal mayors or their representatives for the meeting at the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum.
They talked about spending the BP money, pursuing a high-speed internet project and how best to deal with the state flag controversy. On that subject, the mayors were greeted by a state flag supporter as they arrived for lunch.
Ben Lamey told WLOX News the flag issue has already been voted on by the people, and it should be left at home.
