JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Sheriff's deputies arrested a Semmes, Alabama man after multiple burglaries on the coast. Officials with the Jackson County Sheriff's Department said three homes were broken into in the Hurley, Helena, and Franklin Creek communities in East Jackson County. The burglaries occurred on different days in early July.
After following leads, investigators were about to connect Clayton Tyler Allen, 22 to the burglaries. Allen was arrested Tuesday morning. He is facing three counts of residential burglary which carries up to 25 years in prison, along with a $10,000 fine for each charge.
Allen was taken to the Mobile County Jail and is awaiting extradition back to Mississippi. The investigation is ongoing if you have any information call the Jackson County Sheriff's Department at (228) 769-3063.
