PEARL RIVER COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Hands on Mississippi wants to make sure Pearl River County residents have enough food to feed their families. The organization will hold a countywide food drop Wednesday, July 22, where they will give away 5,000 lbs of food.

Food will be given to anyone who needs it. Participants just need to proof of residency in Pearl River County. That could be a driver's license, rental agreement, utility bill, or any other form of identification.

The food drop will be at the Trinity Outreach Ministries in Picayune. Doors open at 2:00 p.m. and food will be given away until 4:00 p.m. on a first come first served basis.
