HANCOCK COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

A Hancock County drug bust in the Bayside community netted three arrests, drugs, guns and more than $10,000 in cash.

Cmdr. Jeremy Skinner, with the Hancock County Narcotics Division, said agents executed the search warrant at 8223 Harrison Street on Friday. He said authorities launched an investigation after several neighbors complained of ongoing drug activity.

“This case today is proof that people in the community can help make a difference,” said Hancock County Sheriff Ricky Adam. “My deputies work hard every day to keep this county safe and with help like this from the community, we can make an even bigger impact.

Skinner said a search of the home uncovered methamphetamine, amphetamine salts, marijuana, prescription drugs, weapons, ammunition, paraphernalia and more than $10,000 in cash.

Three people were arrested in the bust, and Skinner said charges could be pending for others.

Billy Raine, Jr., 35, is charged with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, assault on a law enforcement officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kylon Raine, 40, is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Candice Elliott, 34, is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
