Family gathering disrupted by gunfire in Pascagoula

PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - Pascagoula police say a verbal argument at a family get together on Ruland Street led to a fight and shooting Wednesday night.

Capt. Shannon Massey said officers responded to the scene around 9 p.m. That's where they arrested 54-year-old Scott Alan Randle, of Moss Point, for allegedly shooting his brother-in-law.

Massey said the victim was taken to Singing River Hospital where he was treated and released.

Randle is charged with aggravated assault. He will make his initial appearance before the Pascagoula Municipal Court.
