(Knoxville, Tenn.-AP) -- Tanner Brock pitched a five-hitter and Brent Lewis had three hits to lead Mississippi State to a 7-2 victory over Tennessee today. Brock improved to 5-and-1 and registered the first complete game of the season for the Bulldogs. Mississippi State improved to 18-and-12, 9-and-6 in the Southeastern Conference and took two of three from the Vols. Mississippi State broke open the game in the seventh inning as it got three runs on four hits, including a two-run single by Steve Gendron and RBI single from Lewis for a 6-1 lead. Tennessee is 28-and-8 and 9-and-6 in the S-E-C.
