Local casino chef advances to second round of food competition

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

An IP Casino Resort and Spa employee has advanced to the second round of voting for Southern Gaming's "Ultimate Tastemaker Getaway" competition.

IP Director of Food and Beverages Stephen Morgan submitted a recipe into the competition called "Hunter's Style" which consists of a medallion of beef with risotto. It's served in the IP's Costa Cucina restaurant.

You can help Morgan win the competition by voting for his dish from now until Friday, July 17.
