God Squad Looks Out for Spring Breakers

One group is looking out for the students on vacation here this weekend. The God Squad has been out the past few days to try to act as a liaison between Spring Breakers and law enforcement. Eighty-five clergymen and concerned citizens are working in groups to squash potential problems that may arise by talking it out.

Members say they feel they are making a difference because the students usually listened.

"There will always be some that are going to have their own agenda, but we were effective in what we were doing," God Squad member Rev. J.W. Carter said. "We went in and just dispersed a whole lotta things."

The God Squad members range in ages from 13 to 85 years old.
