GEORGE COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

A George County jury has indicted a couple on charges of exploitation of a vulnerable adult while operating an unlicensed senior care facility on Mount Pleasant Road in August of 2013.

George County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Shonna Pierce said the Rev. Allen Boone and his wife, Eunice, exploited at least five men while they were under their care.

Pierce said the Boones were receiving $250 for each patient that was supposed to go towards providing them with shelter, food and medications.

Investigators with the Attorney General's Vulnerable Adult Unit believe the couple used that money illegally for their own profit.

Allen and Eunice are being held at the George County Regional Jail on commercial bonds of $10,000 each. They have been incarcerated since June 10, according to Pierce.

The Boones were arrested by the Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit in Stone County on similar charges in November of 2013. In that case, the Boones were charged with one count of operating a personal care home without a license and 12 counts of neglect of a vulnerable person.

Pierce said the Boones have used several aliases for their business operations. If you have any information on the couple, please contact the George County Sheriff's Office at 601-947-4811.
