GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

A Gulfport bar owner will spend the next seven years and three months in prison for pleading guilty to a drug charge. Tuesday, a federal judge sentenced Julie Michelle Glass for conspiracy to possess a controlled substance.

Glass was also ordered to pay a $5,000 fine and serve five years on probation after she is released from prison.

Four other charges against Glass for drugs and guns were dropped.

According to the DEA, Glass and her boyfriend, Carlos Miller, were allegedly dealing drugs out of their bar on Pass Road, ICE Daiquiri Bar and Ultra Lounge. Another man, Robert Sheffield, is also facing charges in the case.

Court documents allege Miller and Glass met with a confidential informant several times to negotiate a deal to buy heroin and cocaine. The couple offered the informant their 2008 Dodge Charger, a Life Estate Deed and said another person in their drug organization had $30,000 cash for one kilogram of heroin and one kilogram of cocaine.

As the couple went to make the deal, agents pulled them over and arrested them. DEA agents also confiscated pistols, revolvers and an Uzi submachine gun from Glass, Miller and Sheffield.

Trial for Miller and Sheffield is set for Aug. 3.
