Candlelight vigil Sunday night to remember Charleston victims


South Mississippians are coming together to remember the 9 people who were shot in killed inside Emanuel AME church in Charleston, South Carolina on Wednesday. People will gather in front of of St. John's Episcopal Church at 7 p.m. Sunday. The church is located at 705 Rayburn Avenue in Ocean Springs.

The Mississippi Religious Leadership Conference is hosting the event. Organizers said "Let us join together with our brothers and sisters of all faiths and races in our expression of grief for the lives lost, in our commitment to justice and equality, and in a statement of unity to work together to overcome the evils of racism and hatred."

Meanwhile, Emanuel AME church once again opened it's doors Sunday morning. All churches in Charleston also rang their bells Sunday morning as a show of support.
