JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Two Jackson County teens are in hot water with the authorities, according to Sheriff Mike Ezell. Ezell said a 16-year-old and 17-year-old have been linked to three stolen vehicles and two car burglary cases in St. Martin.

Authorities say the vehicles were stolen between Feb. 7 and June 4. Ezell said additional stolen vehicle and car burglary cases could be linked to the teens.

According to sheriff's department officials, one of the vehicles was found wrecked on Tucker Road shortly after it was reported stolen. Another was found burned on Larue Road, and the 17-year-old has been charged with arson.

Deputies are still searching for the third vehicle.

Ezell said the teens are being held at the Jackson County Youth Detention Center, awaiting their initial hearings before a youth court judge.
