HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Harrison County Sheriff Melvin Brisolara has identified the suspect who allegedly led deputies and Long Beach police on a vehicle chase Sunday.

Brisolara said 25-year-old Christopher Dolan, of Gulfport, took off in his vehicle after deputies tried to pull him over for reckless driving on Canal Road.

Officials say Dolan ditched his vehicle near the intersection of 28th Street and Klondyke Road in Long Beach. He was later arrested during a traffic stop on County Farm Road.

Brisolara said Dolan is charged with felony failure to stop motor vehicle when officer signals. He is being held at the Harrison County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
