HANCOCK COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

A Diamondhead man wants to see the three suspects accused of attacking and injuring a Hancock County Sheriff's deputy and his K9 partner off the streets and behind bars.

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, has put up a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and felony conviction of the three suspects. That's in addition to the $1,000 reward being offered by the Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers.

"It made me angry that this deputy who was out in our community protecting us and these guys were so brazen to attack this deputy and his K-9 at night it just made me very angry," said the anonymous donor to WLOX News. "If they'd do it to an officer, what would they do to someone's mother, grandmother or someone's grandfather? These guys are bad people they need to be taken off the street."

Investigators say deputy Todd Frazier was attacked by three black men at a roadside rest stop on Old Highway 90 in the Pearlington community on May 18th. They say the K9 officer, Lucas, also sustained injuries as the suspects made their get away.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call the Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-877-787-5898.
