BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - On Tuesday Biloxi city leaders decided they will do a cost analysis before deciding if MGM Park can open for the June 6 home game.
The mayor asked the contractor how much it will cost to expedite the construction so the park can be completed by June 6.
"Biloxi Mayor FoFo Gilich took his first tour of the stadium on Friday and what he has asked is for contractors to come up with
some prices for him on if we would open on June 6 and what would the cost be for the city. What people should remember is the contract says August 4. That's when it's expected to be completed," said Biloxi city spokesman Vincent Creel.
Tickets have already been sold for the home game which is now 11 days away.
