HANCOCK COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - As of Tuesday morning, Hancock County officials still had no names or pictures of the three men wanted for jumping a deputy more than a week ago. Sheriff Ricky Adam told WLOX News his department has received numerous tips and leads, but none have panned out.

"We're steady chasing the suspects," Sheriff Adam assured us. The three black men took off in what's described as a blue Lincoln town car with a dark top and custom rims. "We never realized how many cars met that description," said Adam.

Deputy Todd Frazier suffered cuts on his head along with other scratches and bruises when he was jumped by three men at a roadside rest stop on Old Highway 90 in Pearlington May 18th. His K-9 helped fend off his attackers by biting them before they jumped in the Lincoln town car and took off.

Sheriff Adam said blood from the suspects collected at the scene has been sent off to the state crime lab in Jackson for testing. No word yet when that analysis will be complete.
