"Operation Perseverance" Leads To Seven Drug Arrests

A three-phase drug offensive in Picayune has led to several arrests. Seven people are accused of being suppliers for drugs like ecstasy, crystal methamphetamine and a drug called Ice, a pure form of crystal meth. Below is a list of those arrested and their charges.

  • 23 year old Paul William Kent, Jr., Belle Chaise, Louisiana-sale of controlled substance, conspiracy to sell controlled substance.
  • 20 year old Isaiah Michael Kent, Picayune-conspiracy to sell controlled substance, sale of controlled substance within 1500 feet of church/school, additional charges on warrants from Pearl River County Sheriff's Office.
  • 21 year old Randy Kranky, Picayune-sale of controlled substance
  • 29 year old Christopher Harr, Picayune-sale of controlled substance, conspiracy to sell controlled substance.
  • 19 year old Kendall Darin Galmiche, Carriere, MS-sale of controlled substance within 1500 feet of church/school, possession of controlled substance while in possession of firearm.
  • 23 year old Whitney Smith, Picayune-sale of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance with intent to sell.
  • 22 year old Jamie Spiers, Picayune-sale of controlled substance within 1500 feet of church/school, conspiracy to sell controlled substance.

20 year old Rebecca Marshall is wanted by the Picayune Police Department in connection with "Operation Perseverance." She's described as a white female whose last address was listed in Carriere, MS. "Operation Perseverance" is the enforcement phase of a three-part offensive that started in December 2003 to crack down on drug distribution in the Picayune area. It's a joint effort by the Picayune Police Department, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and Pearl River County Sheriff's Office.
