It seems the phrase "Global Warming" is popping up more and more these days. A CNN/Time-Warner survey out today says more Americans are concerned about Global Warming than ever before. That includes many coast residents who say they're concerned with the problem too.
"I'm concerned that pollution today is going to effect the ozone layer," Pascagoula resident Beverly Small said. "I don't know the length of time that's it's going to take, but I believe it will have an effect."
Experts say it's not really hard to convince people that global warming is a problem once they become educated and understand that it deals with climate change.
"Here on the coast especially, sea level rise, which can damage coastal estuaries, loose valuable beach front property and what not," environmentalist Jim Dawson said.
