High school baseball & softball

Justin Reynolds belted a grand slam home run in the 6th inning and helped Ocean Springs beat ` 10-3 on Saturday on the Greyhounds home turf.

East Central defeated Biloxi 3-2.  In 10 innings Pass Christian knocked off Hancock 6-5.  The Hawks flew back under the win column and defeated the Pirates 18-10 in game two.

Harrison Central beat West Harrison 5-1.  George County would hand Harrison Central a 10-8 setback in the nightcap.

The D'Iberville Warriors posted a 5-2 win over Oak Grove.

In Fast Pitch Softball Stone edged Pass Christian 3-2 and belted OLA 15-0.  Gautier beat OLA 8-7.  D'Iberville out slugged Gautier 7-5.  Long Beach won two games on Saturday.  The Lady Bearcats doubled-up on Pascagoula 8-4 and rolled to a 9-1 win over D'Iberville.

The Pass Christian Lady Pirates beat Pascagoula 9-2.

In high school Lacrosse at Greyhounds Stadium, Ocean Springs easily netted a 14-4 win over Lower Alabama.  The Greyhounds improved to 8-5 on the season.
