STONE COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Stone County deputies have Timmy Garrison's wife in custody, and they've charged her with conspiracy to commit murder.

The sheriff told WLOX News investigators arrested Evelyn Garrison, 51, shortly after 4pm at her home on Cable Bridge Road in Perkinston. Timmy Garrison was found dead at his nearby sawmill equipment business on January 24th.

The crime was initially called in to authorities and investigated as a shooting death, but investigators have not yet released the official cause of death.

Garrison had four children and owned Wood-Mizer, a sales center for saw mill equipment. Friends said he was also a musician, a mechanic, and loved to build log cabins on his property just for fun.
