Sheriff's department, MBI investigating fatal shooting in Stone Co.

STONE COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Stone County Sheriff Mike Farmer confirms to WLOX News his department is investigating a fatal shooting on Cable Bridge Road. Farmer said the call came in around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Sheriff Farmer has confirmed the victim Timmy Garrison, the owner of the Wood Mizer sawmill sales center where the victim was found.

Farmer said his deputies are on the scene investigating and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has been called in to assist.
