Gulfport man faces credit card fraud charge

GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - Perry Eugene Murphy, 53, of Gulfport is accused of credit card fraud, according to Gulfport Police Chief Leonard Papania.
Murphy's charge stems from a call by the victim to police.

An investigation revealed Murphy used the victim's debit card and withdrew $380 from an ATM without asking the victim, according to Papania. A warrant was issued for Murphy's arrest.

He was later arrested at his home on the 2500 block of 13th Street in Gulfport.

Murphy was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center under a $25,000 bond set by Judge Louis D. Ladner.
