HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

People will gather in Moss Point at Pelican Landing for a day of service sponsored by the United Way.
The event runs from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
You can register to volunteer at www.unitedwayjgc.org

The annual MLK Coastwide Parade rolls at 11 a.m. in Gulfport.
The Parade will start at the intersection of 30th avenue and 18th street and end at Milner Stadium, where the Battle of the Bands will take place.
The parade is free, but there is a one dollar entrance fee for the battle of the bands.

People will gather as a parade rolls through downtown Picayune.
It begins at 10 a.m. at City Hall.
If you are planning on going organizers are asking that you bring canned goods and non-perishable items for a food drive to help those in need.

The Ohr O'Keefe Museum will also be offering a history lesson Monday.
There will be a discussion on the Civil Rights Movement in Mississippi, that begins at 2 p.m.
