BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - A Biloxi man is facing charges of burglary of an auto and credit card fraud after he allegedly stole credit cards out of a car in early December.
Biloxi police Sgt. Donnie Dobbs said David Earl Woods, 48, entered an unlocked car on Ruth Court and took credit cards, a social security card and other personal identification.
Dobbs said the stolen cards were used at businesses in Biloxi and D'Iberville shortly after the burglary happened. That is where authorities say they caught Woods on security video using the stolen cards.
Dobbs said Woods ran up charges of more than $260. Any fraud over $100 committed with a credit card is a felony.
Dobbs said Woods was taken to the Harrison County Jail where he was held on a $50,000 bond.
