OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) -

It's snowing in Ocean Springs right now thanks to Olaf and a little magic.

The snow day, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, started at 8 a.m. at the L&N Depot on Washington Avenue. Organizers say the fun will continue into the afternoon as long as the temperature stays below 40 degrees.

Thursday morning, children enjoyed playing in the snow, making snowballs to throw at mom and dad and giving warm hugs to the popular character Olaf, from Disney's movie Frozen.

Olaf is also available for pictures.
