PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - Attorneys for two plaintiffs in the Singing River Health System pension case were in chancery court Tuesday, but Judge Neal Harris has ruled that he can't make any further decisions in those cases. Judge Harris explained to the court that the Maury Thompson's case is currently in federal court, so his hands are tied when it comes to the Temporary Restraining Order. The TRO was filed on December 16th and expires on the 26th.
Also Tuesday, Attorneys Earl Denham and Harvey Barton filed a motion for another retiree named Howard Lee Bosarge. Judge Harris didn't rule on that motion because Singing River attorneys weren't in court. He will hold another hearing Wednesday morning at 9am to hear those arguments.
WLOX News was in the courtroom and Patrice Clark will have more details on the proceedings later today on WLOX News and WLOX.com.
