BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Step outside this morning and it will feel warm and sticky. Fog is blanketing parts of South Mississippi. And rough weather is on its way to the coast.

The WLOX 24/7 Weather team expect Tuesday to be an active weather day. There's a slight risk for all modes of severe weather; large hail, gusty winds up to 65 miles per hour, and isolated tornadoes. Highs this afternoon will be around 70 with an 80% chance of rain. A squall line may form and move through South Mississippi this afternoon and early evening. Showers and thunderstorms will begin to diminish late tonight after a cold front passes around midnight.
