Police Say Brother Shoots Brother In Dispute

A domestic dispute has left the brother of the Biloxi Fire Chief dead, and another brother charged with his death.

It happened at a mobile home on Kensington Drive in Biloxi about 11:00 p.m. Monday night.

Investigators say 50-year-old Richard Roberts shot his 45-year-old brother, Stephen, in the chest after they argued. Richard is charged with manslaughter.

Police say there is no sign that drugs or alcohol were involved.

Richard Roberts is in the Harrison County jail on a $100,000 bond. Both the victim and the alleged shooter are the brothers of Biloxi Fire Chief David Roberts.
