PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) -

A whisper of worry passed among current and former employees of Singing River Health System Friday morning as they waited outside Chancery Courtroom C. Then, silence, as they filed into a larger courtroom where they could all be seated.

That's where Judge Neil Harris announced he is bound by state law to move the case to federal court, as requested. No further action was taken, and court was dismissed.

WLOX's Doug Walker and Danielle Thomas were there, and will have more on this next step in the case on WLOX News at Midday at 11am.

Meanwhile, a class action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of three current employees and three retirees.
