BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - A class action lawsuit has been filed against Singing River Health System.

Attorney Jim Reeves tells us the lawsuit, filed in Federal Court today, represents six plaintiffs who are current and former SRHS employees. Reeves said the lawsuit is seeking relief from the SRHS pension contract and is claiming fraud, misrepresentation and misconduct.

Reeves said this is a separate lawsuit from the temporary restraining order case in Chancery Court that halted SRHS from endings its employee pension plan. But Reeves said he has filed a separate case in Chancery Court to be joined in the order to keep the retraining order intact.

Officials with SRHS tell us they have no comment at this time.
