LUCEDALE, MS (WLOX) - Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a Hurley woman. That's according to Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell.

Detectives told WLOX News Frankie Taylor Fairley, 55, was last seen by her husband Tuesday around 3 p.m. While WLOX News reporter Asha Staples was interviewing Fairley's family Wednesday morning, family members found out Fairley's body had been discovered.

"Mrs. Fairley's body was found near her home in a field on Polktown Road and Davis Sawmill Road at about noon today," said Sheriff Ezell.

How she died has not been released yet. The sheriff has also not released the suspects' name.

The sheriff said before Fairley left Tuesday, she asked her husband to watch a pot of food she had been cooking on the stove.

Asha Staples spoke with family members today about this tragedy. Coming up on WLOX News at 5, we'll have a live report from the scene with the latest developments.
