Donations needed for Christmas assistance program

PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - Christmas morning is a memory children will cherish for a lifetime. That's why many organizations in Jackson County are collecting toys to support the Believe Children's Christmas Assistance Program Toy Drive.

Lieutenant Doug Adams, Public Affairs Officer for the Pascagoula Police Department said, "We chose to support this organization so that we can do our part in making sure all children in Jackson County will have something under the tree on Christmas morning."

You can drop off toys at the Pascagoula Police Department or the Pascagoula Main Street Office in Cottage A at Anchor Square until Tuesday, December 16th.

Along with your help, the drive is sponsored by the Pascagoula Police Department, Pascagoula Main Street, and the Ingalls Shipbuilding Test and Trials Division.

The toy distribution will take place at the Jackson County Fairgrounds the third week of December.
