24 hours to give where you live

24 hours to give where you live

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Wednesday is Mississippi's first statewide day of giving. It is designed to promote and increase community awareness by giving to nonprofits. The goal is to raise funds for as many charities as possible starting at midnight on December 10th.

Organizers with Mississippi Gives say this platform makes it easier for passionate people, in every corner of our state, to connect with and to support the causes that nurture our communities and improve the quality of life in Mississippi.

There will also be a party at Kress Live in Biloxi to support the cause, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

You can also donate by going to MississippiGives.org and selecting the charity of your choice.
