Head coach Bill Conides guided his Rockachaws past Forrest County AHS 41 to 21.
Quarterback Myles Brennan completed 33 of 42 passes for 382 yards and four touchdowns.
Chase Rhodes snagged 10 passes for 86 yards and two touchdowns and he established
a new St. Stanislaus career receiving record with 205 receptions. On the season, Rhodes has 95 catches for 1,226 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Rhodes said, "Think about how many receivers have come through here and I have more catches then all of them. I mean it's huge. It's pretty great and I couldn't do it without Myles and the other receivers working hard to get me open and throw me the ball."
Sophomore tight end Chase Rodgers was on the receiving end of nine passes for 132 yards and a touchdown in Friday's win. He has 47 catches on the season for 834 yards and 8 TD's. He says Brennan runs the show behind center.
Rogers said, "Without him we couldn't do anything. He throws, he has to know a lot, the whole offense, every receiver. He has do know his reads. he has to know which way to turn. He has a lot of responsibility and does a good job."
The Rockachaws are in hunt for their first 4A State title since 2010.
