Feds nab Jackson County burglary suspect in Georgia

JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - An arrest 400 miles from the coast may solve a string of Jackson County crimes.

According to a news release from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, Larmaris Sims was nabbed by U.S. Marshals in Atlanta.  That news release says Sims is linked to armed robbery, burglary, uttering forgery and credit card fraud at St. Martin hotels and apartment complexes.

Sims has reportedly been on the run since late September

Deputies expect Sims to be extradited to Jackson County next week.

If he's convicted on all charges, he could spend 50 years in prison, and may have to pay as much as $60,000 in fines.
