Homicide investigation underway in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, MS (WLOX) - The death of a 48-year-old woman is being investigated as a homicide, according to Harrison County Deputy Coroner Brian Switzer.

Switzer confirms the woman's body was found inside her home on the 200 block of Woodcrest Drive in Long Beach Tuesday morning by a family member.

The cause of death has not been released pending the results of an autopsy. The woman's identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
