Numbers from South MS judicial races

SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) -

Here is a list of the numbers from the big judicial races from across South Mississippi:

-Place 2 in the 8th Chancery Court District: Incumbent Jennifer Schloegel (66 percent) defeats challenger C. Stephen Benvenutti (34 percent).

-Place 3 in the 8th Chancery Court District: Incumbent Sandy Steckler (55 percent) defeats challenger Ronnie Cochran (45 percent).

-Place 2 in the 2nd District Circuit Court: Chris Schmidt (42 percent) will face Robert Fant Walker (33 percent) in a Nov. 25. Runoff election. Incumbent John Gargiulo was appointed as a federal judge.

-Place 1 in the 16th District Circuit Court: Incumbent D. Neil Harris, Sr. (50 percent) defeats challenger Paula Yancey (50 percent) by only 36 votes.

-Place 3 in the 16th District Circuit Court: Michael Fondren (59 percent) defeats Gary Roberts (41 percent). Incumbent Chuck Bordis did not seek re-election.

-Harrison County Court Place 3: Incumbent Margaret Alfonso (68 percent) defeats challenger Herbert Wilson (32 percent).
