Bryant, Nosef issue congratulations to MSGOP election winners

SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) -

Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant and MSGOP Chairman Joe Nosef released statements congratulating Sen. Thad Cochran and Reps. Alan Nunnelee, Gregg Harper and Steven Palazzo on their election victories Tuesday night.

"I want to congratulate Sen. Cochran and Reps. Harper, Palazzo and Nunnelee on their re-election victories tonight," Bryant said. "I know they'll continue to represent the people of Mississippi and their conservative values in Congress while fighting the liberal agenda of President Obama. This is a great night for the Republican Party in Mississippi."

"I congratulate Thad Cochran, Gregg Harper, Alan Nunnelee, and Steven Palazzo on their victories tonight and thank the voters for their confidence in them. These officials have served our state and our Party well and will continue to do so. Hopefully, they will all be in the majority when they return to Washington next year,” said Nosef. Tonight was a victory for all Republicans across the state who came together and showed the strength and resiliency of our Mississippi Republican Party. Our celebration will be short as we must immediately turn our focus to 2015 and state elections to ensure that we defend and grow the hard-earned success of our Party."
